Porque la tierra tiene historias

​TheGeoLife.Co was founded on a simple observation: geología is not confined to textbooks, university lectures, or museum exhibits. It lives everywhere, in the rocks beneath our feet, the mountains we hike, the clothes we wear, and the landscapes that shape our identities.

 

We identified a significant gap in accessible geological education for the general public, particularly for Spanish-speaking communities. More than that, we recognized that geología es un estilo de vida, una manera diferente de ver el mundo. 

 

Our mission grew out of extensive collaboration with Henry W. Coe State Park and the SJSU Geology Department, where research focused on developing GeoHikes for the general public. Recognizing the opportunity to bring geoscience education beyond the classroom and into communities that needed it most, we established TheGeoLife.Co as a gateway into the geology life. It is a way to explore, learn, wear, and celebrate the science that quite literally holds us up.
